What Valve should do for left 4 dead 2....more maps

One of the big problems with Left 4 dead 1 was the lack of maps. I know about the ability to get user created maps, but the server selector did not select those, which can be bother some. Also, sometimes a new version of a map would come out, and you would have to download it again and reinstall it.
I think what Valve should do is have a map of the X time period. It could be month or quarter. Its all good. Valve should select a map that gets submitted to them by the users, and select that map to be officially packaged with the game. That way, you could expand the map group with little to no effort. Now, to select which maps to pick, there are several options;
1) a group of people play some of the maps submitted, and select the good ones
2) the first option combined with voting from the internet from a small pool, and the best one gets added. And the ones that get enough votes are added to next week. This will alow people to add more maps in higher concentration
3) hire more map makers. I bet you could find a few good map makers out there.

Thats just my thought. To make left 4 dead 2 more popular, Valve needs more maps more often, and I think these options would work well.
