I don't have an iPod, I don't have a MAC, but I use itunes to download podcasts and watch them when I don't have a connection to the internet (which happens sometimes). Well, I have some troubles with the itunes. The biggest one is that is freezes, and freezes a lot. It likes to freeze when it finishes downlaoding a file, minimizing, or using any oher program. The worst is when it freezes while I am watching a video I downloaded. Now, I don't use itunes to watch the videos. I used to do that, but it froze a lot and it played really slow. Now, I have a good laptop. Its rather new. It has 1006 mb of ram (thats what it tells me), is vista compadible, and some graphics card. That is a good system for theos who use a mac and are about ready to spam the crap out of me (if anybody really reads this)
With the troubles of videos, I don't use itunes to listen to my music. I use windows media player to listen to the music. Again, I don't have an iPod, and I don't have a large collection of music. Conrarty to popular opinion, I can entertain my self with out the need for audio stimulation. I'm not that stupid. Anyways, I use the windows media player, and to watch the vids, I use media player classic. That has been giving me troubles some times. Sometimes it plays the vids at the wrong speed, and some times starts in the middle of the video. So, I have to use the normal windows media plaer. I use QUick time alternative when I can as to avoid quick time, because I had a hard time with that and Riven. Which is compadible with the MAC os 7.5 and higher, so if I ever get a 7.5 or higher, I can have a game to play. Oh well, we all need some fun.
Itunes is only there to download the vids and such off of the internet. I don't use it to listen to the downloaded such. Also, and here is the biggest problem: sometimes itunes does not downlaod the entire file, or doesn't download the file at all, whch is the biggest problem I have with the itunes. It doesn't work well with my comptuer. Now, some will say 'then get a mac and enjoy the bliss.' And I might, if it had something else to offer besides 'make a podcast' and 'make a movie' and 'dude, its photoshop!' Yeah, I love fiddling with the photop shop and busting out head shots in CS:S. Yeah, good times. Good times.
